UPDATE: Two Young Carbondale Runaways Found

On Wednesday, March 21 around 12:00 p.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department located Mariyiah Turner and Ciara Stidhum in Carbondale.

They were accompanied by a third female juvenile who was also listed as a runaway. The three girls were found safe and healthy. All were returned to the custody of their parents.

The Department wishes to thank those people who provided information regarding the whereabouts of Turner and Stidhum, which allowed for their safe return.

PREVIOUSLY

The Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating two young runaways.

Officers say 13-year-old Mariyiah Turner was last seen on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the 700 block of North Robert A. Stalls Avenue.They say 12-year-old Ciara Stidhum was last seen on Saturday at around 5:30 pm in the 700 block of North Robert A. Stalls Avenue.

Turner and Stidhum are believed to be together, and believed to still be in the Carbondale area.
