Update on Money Fight in Illinois Governor's Race

We have a better picture of the money fight that’s happening in the race for Illinois governor.

Both of the major party candidates have largely funded their own campaigns. They’re both really rich.
Democrat JB Pritzker has now given his campaign more than $106 million and Republican incumbent Governor Bruce Rauner has poured $50 million into his campaign.

Overall - Pritzker is spending more than Rauner, too. In just the last three months - Pritzker burned through more than $20 million. Rauner spent $7 in the same time period.

And you’ve likely seen where most of all that money goes: advertising.
