Two men accused of killing a Carbondale musician in 2016 will go to trial next month.
Online Jackson County court records show Travis Tyler and John Ingram, both 23 from Cape Girardeau, will go to trial on March 19th. They're charged with first degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

They're accused of fatally shooting musician Timothy Beaty on Easter morning of 2016. Beaty was hit by a stray bullet on Walnut Street in Carbondale. Another man, Nehemiah Greenlee, received non-life threatening injuries.

A third defendant, 22-year-old Dwayne Dunn, was sentenced last year to 30 months' probation after pleading guilty to reckless discharge of a firearm.
