Three Indicted in Williamson County Theft

Three former Williamson County employees have been charged with theft and official misconduct in connection to thousands of dollars going missing from the Circuit Clerk’s office.

The Attorney General’s Office says 49-year old Marsha Dickinson, 58-year old Cheryl Cundiff, and 43-year old Kelly Trammel are facing multiple counts of felony theft and official misconduct.

Investigators say the women conspired to steal more than $80,000 from the county by taking cash that was being paid as bond at the County Jail, keeping the money, and then covering up the theft. They say the money was stolen over a five year period.

Williamson County authorities say Dickinson, Cundiff, and Kelly all turned themselves in Thursday evening, posted bond and were released. The Attorney General's office says there is no court date yet for the trio.
