Street Machine Nationals to Return to DuQuoin

Get ready for the return of high-octane frolic as the Street Machine Nationals is scheduled to return to the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds for the first time in more than a decade.

The show sponsored by Car Craft Magazine ended its run in Du Quoin in 1998.   The event attracted custom hot rods and motorcycles from across the country along with enthusiasts.  The Car Craft Street Machine Nationals will return to Du Quoin June 28-30, 2013.   In a written release, Car Craft Magazine Editor Douglas Glass says the event has a great history at Du Quoin and filled area hotels and businesses with automotive enthusiasts from all over the nation.  The event is expected to draw thousands of people to the Du Quoin area once again.
