Southern Illinois Fair Queen Named Miss Illinois County Fair

Richland County's fair queen is the new 2015 Miss Illinois County Fair.

Sadie Gassmann of Olney was crowned Sunday evening during the 2015 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen pageant at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Springfield.

As Queen, Gassmann will help promote the Illinois State Fair, the Du Quoin State Fair, and other county fairs. She will also travel the state as an ambassador promoting agriculture in Illinois. Gassmann will also appear before the state legislature in the spring.
