Monday's heavy snow means one candidate for President at Southeast Missouri State University will have to wait a day to make her pitch.
SEMO announced Sunday that Margaret Madden's visit to Cape Girardeau was postponed because of inclement weather.
Madden is currently Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at State University of New York - Potsdam. Her visit, originally scheduled for February 16-17, will now take place February 17-18.
Madden is one of four finalists for SEMO President. The other three are Paul Plotkowski of Grand Valley State University, Carlos Vargas-Aburto oF Kutztown University, and Benjamin Ola. Akande of Webster university.
The four are hoping to fill the position being vacated as President Kenneth Dobbins retires in June.
