SIU Students Unveil Eclipse Film

Marcia Kuhlman and Malea Bailey.
Still Frame From the Documentary "2:38 -- A Glimpse Into The Eclipse"

On Friday December 1st, 2017, on the SIU Campus,  the public can relive the recent eclipse experience  thanks to a film produced by two SIU Students. Physiology Major Marcia Kuhlman  and Radio–Television–Digital Media major Malea  Bailey will be screening their documentary titled "2.38—A Glimpse Into the Eclipse". Bailey says what originally began as a two minute piece mushroomed,  because, as she found, the eclipse was something different for everybody.

"Every single person that we spoke to did not have the same event that they experienced, and as it became what it is now, we almost felt obligated to have to tell it because it's our duty to be able to share all of these different experiences that people have had."

The screening starts at 7:00PM on Friday, December 1st, 2017 in Morris Library's Guyon Auditorium.  For more information visit:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vh5mrn-rDg
