SIRIS Trivia Contest March 2nd

Do you have a knack for Trivia?   The Southern Illinois Radio Information Service (SIRIS) invites you to put your knowledge to good use to help support the cause.

On Saturday March 2, 2013, SIRIS and WSIU Public Radio are hosting a Trivia Contest at the Newman Center on South Washington Street in Carbondale to benefit the reading service.  WSIU TV's Jak Tichenor will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Teams of up to eight people will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.  Individuals and teams are welcome. Teams can pre-register by calling SIRIS at 618-453-2808 or on site the day of the events.   Registration cost is $15 per person or $120 per team.  All proceeds will benefit SIRIS.  The Southern Illinois Radio Information Service provides a special broadcast of books and local news papers read by community volunteers for individuals who are blind or whose physical condition makes reading difficult.'

More information about SIRIS is available on line.
