Shuttered Herrin Factory Sold

Herrin's former Maytag plant is under new ownership.

The Milwaukee Business Journal reports an affiliate of Milwaukee based Phoenix Investors purchased the Herrin plant for $1 million. 

The plant encompasses more than 800,000 square feet.

Phoenix will take over management and leasing of the former Maytag plant.  

Current tenants include Aisin Manufacturing and Ortho Tech.  

The Herrin facility is the second former Maytag plant that Phoenix has acquired.
