SEMO Enrollment Up

Enrollment at Southeast Missouri State University is at an all–time high.

The university released fall enrollment numbers showing 11,729 undergraduate and graduate students, a 1.9 percent increase from the fall of 2011.  It's the 18th straight year of enrollment growth for the Cape Girardeau–based university. Southeast also cited an increase in full–time enrollment, and a decrease in part–time students. Meanwhile, the retention rate is up with nearly 74 percent of students remaining at the school.
