The Route-149 railroad crossing in Jackson County is closed for repairs….

Canadian National Railroad crews are replacing the crossing at the intersection of Route-149 and US-51 in De Soto.  The worked is expected to continue through Wednesday afternoon.  The crossing will be closed to traffic until the work is completed.  

Motorists should follow marked detour routes and may want to leave a little extra travel time.
