Region Under Winter Storm Warning Until Early Thursday

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6:00 AM Thursday.   The area of the watch is basically along and south of Interstate 64.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says snow will continue over much of the region Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning.  As of Wednesday afternoon weather spotters were reporting snow fall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.   Forecasters are still predicting a total of 4 to 8 inches of snowfall by Thursday morning.  Some locations could see locally heavy snow fall of up to 10-inches.

Travel will continue to be treacherous throughout the evening hours.
