Retired Southern Illinois University President Glenn Poshard is taking on another leadership role in higher education.
Morthland College has named Poshard its new President. In a statement on the school's Facebook page, founding President Tim Morthland says growth in the school's related enterprises forced the change in leadership.
Morthland will be the CEO of those enterprises - including Morthland College Health Services and the DaVinci beverage line.
Morthland calls Poshard a seasoned educational leader, and Poshard says he's looking forward to the new opportunity at the private West Frankfort college.
