Police Still Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

The Carbondale Police Department is continuing its investigation to identify the suspect in the Walgreens armed robbery on W. Main Street on May 11.

Officers say the suspect displayed a weapon during the offense and stole medication from the pharmacy.
Based upon the images available, they say the suspect appears to be a white male in his late 20's to early 30's who is approximately six feet tall with a lean build. He had a full head of dark brown, possibly even black, hair.  He may have a "teardrop" tattoo underneath his left eye.

The suspect appeared to be under the influence of a drug at the time of the offense and is suspected to suffer from drug addiction. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Police Department at or Crime Stoppers at (618) 549-COPS.
