Plane Reportedly Carrying S. Illinois Couple Found in W. Virginia

A West Virginia television station is reporting a plane believed to be carrying a southern Illinois couple has been located.

WDTV says the FAA has confirmed that the missing plane was found at approximately 2:00 p.m. Wednesday near Jacksonburg, WV. According to a statement, the plane crashed in a mountainous area. No other information is being released at this time.

The plane was likely operated by the husband and wife team of Bill and Pat Searcy from Carterville.

The plane went missing in West Virginia on Tuesday.
