Pinckneyville Murder Trial Verdict: Guilty

A southern Illinois man faces up to 60-years in prison now that he's been convicted in a 2010 killing of a 15-year old girl.

Perry county Circuit Judge James Campanella found 18-year old James Glazier guilty Monday of a count of First Degree Murder in the death of Sidnee Stephens.  Glazier had waived his right to a jury trial. Glazier's conviction leaves only 16-year-old Robbie Mueller still facing trial. Mueller has pleaded not guilty  to charges of  murder, kidnapping and home invasion.  A third suspect, Carl Dane, pleaded guilty last year. He was found dead in his jail cell the day he was to be transferred to prison to begin serving a 60-year sentence. Mueller has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a bench trial in September.  Glazier's sentencing is scheduled for September 13th.
