Patricia's Remnants Will Dump on Region This Week...

Some parts of the Quad-State could see more than two inches of rain over the next couple of days, as what's left of Hurricane Patricia moves across the region. The National Weather Service in Paducah says rain will likely begin to fall late Monday evening, and pick up in intensity during the overnight hours into Tuesday.

The highest rainfall totals are expected in western Kentucky and southwest Indiana. There, two inches or more could fall through Wednesday.

In the Carbondale area, about an inch and a half of rain is expected. Forecasters say the rain will likely stretch from Monday evening through Wednesday morning, and could be heavy at times.
