A person is in custody following a shooting in Gallatin County.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Department says it received a dispatch from Saline County 911 Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 about a shooting on Buffalo Road, just south of Omaha.
There, deputies found a 23-year-old white man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He is undergoing treatment at a regional hospital.

Law enforcement officials say they have determined an initial report of a drive-by shooting was false.

A search warrant was granted Tuesday night and executed at the Buffalo Road residence. One person is in custody and more arrests may follow.

Authorities say they will release more information when it becomes available.
