Mt. Vernon Man Accused of Shooting at Apartment Complex

A Mt. Vernon man is accused of shooting two others at a local apartment complex.

Mt. Vernon Police say 26-year-old Kandy Collard is also charged with Home Invasion and two counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm in connection with the shooting at Garden Glen Apartments.
The incident occurred on July 30th.

Collard is incarcerated in the Jefferson County Justice Center on the Mob Action warrant, which had a bond of $10,000.
