WSIU Radio's Jennifer Fuller talks with Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon about Gov. Pat Quinn's proposed FY 2013 budget. 

Among the cuts are the Tamms Correctional Center, IYC-Murphysboro, Murray Developmental Center in Centralia and many more consolidations. Simon discusses those potential cuts, as well as pension and Medicaid reforms, as well as some brighter news about education in Illinois.
