Media Advisory - Live 12th Congressional District Debate in Belleville

Carbondale, Ill. -- Reporters, camera crews, and photographers are invited to cover the third and final broadcast debate between Illinois 12th Congressional District candidates William Enyart (D-Belleville), Jason Plummer (R-O'Fallon), and Paula Bradshaw (G- Carbondale).

The final broadcast debate will take place before a live audience this Wednesday, October 10 at 7pm at Lindenwood University Auditorium, 2600 West Main Street in Belleville.

WSIU-TV's Jak Tichenor will moderate the debate, with questioning from Jennifer Fuller of WSIU Public Radio, Gary Metro of the Southern Illinoisan, and Beth Hundsdorfer of the Belleville News-Democrat.

The 90-minute debate will air live on the WSIU Radio stations WSIU 91.9 FM, WUSI 90.3 FM, and WVSI 88.9 FM and will be streamed live at bnd.com and thesouthern.com.

WSIU-TV will record the debate for broadcast on their primary HD channels -- WSIU-TV 8 and WUSI-TV 16 -- this Friday, October 12 at 8pm, with a repeat on Sunday, October 14 at 4pm.

WSIU also will air repeats on their WORLD channels -- WSIU-TV 8.2 and WUSI-TV 16.2 -- on Saturday, October 13 at 1:30pm, Sunday, October 14 at 4:30pm, and Monday, October 15 at 6:30pm.

The three candidates previously debated at the WSIU-TV studios in Carbondale and the Marion Cultural and Civic Centerin Marion.
