The Carbondale Boys and Girls club is celebrating 8 years of community building and providing a secure environment for local kids.
Program Director, Tina Carpenter hopes to build strong relationship between adults and children using their Pledge to Play, which will allow adults to spend meaningful time with young people and engage in active play. Carpenter says their main mission is to help kids, especially those who need help realizing their full potential as caring responsible and productive citizens. Carpenter encourages Carbondale area residents to help them celebrate the Boys and Girls Club on Saturday from 10 a.m until Noon.
