A Carlisle County woman is in jail on rape and sodomy charges stemming from her time as a substitute teacher.

Kentucky State Police say Kasey Warren, 27, of Bardwell had sexual relations with two 16-year-old male students in McCracken County.

Warren was employed by the Carlisle County School system in the last half of the 2015-2016 school year when she met the two juveniles. She is not currently employed by a school district.

On Friday, a McCracken County grand jury levied three counts of Sodomy3rddegree and three counts of Rape3rddegree against her.

Three days later, Warren turned herself in to KSP and is lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

She will be arraigned September 15.
