A local arts center recently launched a new campaign to raise awareness and funding for its unique outdoor sculpture park.
Cedarhurst Director of Development Hillary Esser says the goal for Kimball's Habitat Campaign is to raise $250,000 to revitalize the 90-acre park.
"There are definitely some operations and maintenance and upkeep things that we need to be addressing in the park right now, just so that we can sustain it for future generations."
The campaign will last throughout the rest of the year. However, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Esser says there's an opportunity to have donations matched by Withers Broadcasting Companies - up to $25,000.
Donations can be made through the Cedarhurst website at Cedarhurst.org or through YouCaring/Kimball-habitat.com.
