Homeless Man Accused of Stealing A Vehicle

A homeless man has been arrested and charged with stealing a vehicle from a Carbondale business.

Police say 28-year-old Justin Peak is accused of stealing the vehicle from a business Tuesday in the 500 block of East Main Street.
Officers say a red, full size Dodge truck was stolen from the parking lot of the business at around 5:40 p.m.  Officers located the vehicle and Peak a short time later in the 100 block of North Gum Street.

Peak is charged with Motor Vehicle Theft and incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.
