HBO Crew Films the Chester Bridge

Images

The Chester Bridge was reduced to one lane Thursday for a unique reason.

Suntimesnews reports a 10-foot wide restriction was in place so a film crew could work on a documentary for HBO.
The Missouri Department of Transportation said the film crew needed some shots for a project on aging infrastructure.

The Chester Bridge opened in 1942. Transportation officials say it's in poor condition and too narrow by today's design standards.

A study is underway to look at constructing a new bridge. Three proposals were presented at a recent public meeting in Perryville, Missouri.
