WSIU, Cedarhurst To Present Free Family Event | Saturday, March 28 from 1-4pm at Cedarhurst, Mt. Vernon, Ill. | Featuring PBS KIDS Host Mr. Steve, Peg + Cat, Curious George
Carbondale, Ill. -- WSIU Public Broadcasting, the public media arm of Southern Illinois University, and Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, with support from sponsors SIU Credit Union and Modern Woodmen of America, are proud to present Math, Music & Me!, a free family event coming to Cedarhurst, 2600 Richview Road in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, on Saturday, March 28 from 1-4pm, rain or shine.
Guests will enjoy musical performances by and photo opportunities with popular PBS KIDS host Mr. Steve, appearances by PBS KIDS costume characters Peg + Cat and Curious George, art projects, including painting a large outdoor mural, math games, PBS KIDS books, videos, and more.
All families will receive a free book after completing an event survey and WSIU giveaways. Guests are asked to bring their own cameras and mobile devices to take photos and play PBS KIDS games online.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
