An measurement error, submitted by the company interested in obtaining a fracking permit for a site in White County, has caused a setback for the company. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the state agency which has to approve all fracking, has noted that an error in Woolsey's original application contained an error. The company has admitted the error and, in an internal letter that the IDNR has posted, a company administrator indicates the mistake will be corrected and that this will also mean that the public hearing previously scheduled for July 5th has been cancelled.
