DuQuoin, IL – The grandstand entertainment at the DuQuoin State Fair this year will feature two country artists, an alternative metal band, and a pop star.
Hit-maker Corbin Bleu, of High School Musical fame, will perform at the fair on August 30th. Assistant Fair Manager Norm Hill says he's a hot, new performer who will attract a younger crowd.
The other three music headliners will be Sawyer Brown, a country music band founded in the 1980's, 2006 American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler, and alternative metal band POD. The fair runs August 22nd through September 1st.
Besides music, the fair will feature the World Trotting Derby, with an estimated purse of $500,000.
