The United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Illinois has invested in southern Illinois through the Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program. At a media event on Thursday August 16th at John A. Logan College, a $1.5 million capital investment was awarded to the non-profit Champion Community Investments, and was recognized as another example of the strong bond between the two partners.
