Two candidates have filed nominating petitions for Carbondale Mayor, and seven filed for Carbondale City Council.
The mayoral candidates are Jane Adams and John "Mike" Henry.
The seven council candidates are Navreet Kang, Adam Loos, Angela Kaye, Rebel Pinkston, Tom Grant, Anna Durrett and Lance Jack.
Because of the numbers filing nominating petitions, there will not be a primary election.
The election will be April 7th.
