A Cairo man is dead following a shooting on the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge at Cape Girardeau.
Illinois State Police say 26-year-old Dalvin Taylor was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit by gunfire from another vehicle on Sunday.
Taylor's vehicle made a U-turn and went back to Missouri, where it was stopped by Cape Girardeau Police.
The other vehicle fled the scene and has not been found.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
