Another Republican Congressman is voicing his displeasure with President Obama's plans to bring Syrian refugees to the United States.
Southern Illinois Congressman Mike Bost took to the House floor, saying he wants to protect his constituents from harm.
"We must act swiftly, and smartly, in the face of this evil. While my heart hurts for innocent people suffering in Syria, our priority must be in keeping Americans safe. That's why I oppose the President's effort to bring refugees to our shores without a real plan to vet them."
Dozens of governors - mostly Republican - have vowed to block refugees from coming to their states, though experts say they don't have the authority to do that.
