A Pulaski County man has been arrested in connection to a shooting this past weekend in Carbondale.

Carbondale Police say 24-year-old Devante Taylor of Olmsted is charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and No Valid Illinois Firearm Owner's ID.
Officers responded to the 300 block of South Crestview Lane early Sunday morning.

They learned that the suspect, now believed to be Taylor, exited a vehicle and began shooting in the direction of multiple people standing outside of a residence before fleeing the area in the vehicle. A short time later, police in Williamson County stopped Taylor's vehicle.

No injuries occurred during the shooting. The investigation continues.
