Another Man Arrested for Role in Carbondale Shooting Incident

One of two additional men wanted in connection to a shooting incident in Carbondale early Sunday morning is in custody.

Carbondale Police say 21-year-old Rahsaan Graham, Jr. of Murphysboro was arrested Wednesday in Murphysboro.
Officers say the search continues for 35-year-old Renard Ward of Jackson, Tennessee.

Officers responded to an incident in the 500 block of South Illinois Avenue Sunday morning and saw a man firing a handgun at a vehicle. Police identified him as 22-year-old Brett Jones of DeSoto. He was arrested at the scene.

Officers believe Graham, Jr. and Ward fired handguns from a vehicle as they fled the area. They are both charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm. Graham, Jr. was also charged with Intimidation and Unlawful Communication with a Witness.

No injuries were reported.
