An Alabama man has admitted to robbing a southern Illinois bank.
The U.S. attorney for Southern Illinois says 38-year-old George David Treece pleaded guilty to robbing the Farmers State Bank in Central City in Marion County last August.
Treece was apprehended later that same day.
He will be sentenced on March 21st.
Treece faces up to 20 years in prison.
He will also have to repay the bank for the stolen money.
