A former Randolph County resident has been arrested in Belleville on two counts of financial exploitation of the elderly.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department says it recently arrested 73-year-old David Brewer of Belleville.
Authorities say they aren't releasing specifics of the investigation right now, except anyone who wrote a check personally to Brewer may be a victim. They say anyone who may be a victim is urged to contact their local police to report it.
Brewer - a former Prairie du Rocher resident - posted bond and was released.
