A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the body that was found burning near Piles Fork Creek in Carbondale back in August.

Authorities say 25-year-old Robert Dennis of Carbondale has been charged with one count of Concealment of a Homicidal Death.
Earlier this week, the Jackson County State's Attorney's office said 22-year old Tiesha Anderson of Collinsville was also charged with concealment of a homicidal death.

Dennis and Anderson are accused of hiding the body of a woman in a trash can in a wooded area for the purpose of delaying or preventing the discovery of her death. The body was found after authorities responded to a fire in the early morning hours of August 30.

Officers with the Carbondale Police Department say they have tentatively identified the victim, but are not releasing the name until they can verify it through forensic evidence.
